OUR HISTORY
Rich leads the vision of Summit Crest Construction, leading on his over three decades of construction experience. At the age of 23, Rich began working in the building trade working with staff and craftsman of great talent building large commercial buildings and bridges. With is superior work ethic and drive to learn and grow, he quickly climbed the ladder to move into the Foreman position. At the age of 26, Rich noticed a growing need for quality construction and fresh ideas in the housing industry and started RCH Construction: R-Remodel C-Custom H-Homes. Rich’s focus shifted from remodeling to new home construction, and this is the inception of Summit Crest Construction, LLC., an independent, family-owned business now in its second generation.
Summit Crest Construction has been playing a vital role in the Yakima homebuilding industry for over 35 years and has built hundreds of new homes, both spec and custom homes, developed residential neighborhoods, townhomes, apartments, and commercial buildings and renovations. Along the way, we have built a team of valued employees, subcontractors, vendors, and material providers that share our company’s guiding principles and have been a huge asset to our company. Rich has been blessed to share his legacy with his son Max and together they continue to build on 35 years of superior quality-one home, one project, and one vision at a time! Not only are we proud of the quality home and lasting relationships that we build, but we also pride ourselves on the legacy we have cultivated within the local homebuilding industry.
